VEAB takes the next step in its modernization initiative – partners with FASAB for facility expansion
VEAB Heat Tech AB continues its extensive modernization journey. After initiating a strategic partnership with Salvagnini last autumn as part of a larger investment of approximately 50 MSEK, we are now taking the next important step. Together with local contractor FASAB, we are beginning a significant expansion and upgrade of our facilities in Hässleholm.
Expanding by 1,500 sqm to support future production
To create the right conditions for upcoming production flows and prepare for the planned Salvagnini line, we are now carrying out a major facility expansion. The project includes:
- Approximately 1,500 sqm of new production space
- Modernization of existing facilities
- Expansion of the office area
- A comprehensive roof refurbishment with improved insulation
The added insulation as part of the roof project is expected to reduce our electricity consumption by around 10%, marking an important step in making our operations more energy-efficient and sustainable.
The entire project is scheduled for completion in Q2 2025.
Local partnership with FASAB
For us, choosing a partner with strong local roots and solid experience in the region has been essential. We selected FASAB, a company with extensive expertise in construction and infrastructure development.
