EOL Vent Mining has successfully delivered a complete system for CO2-neutral heating of an fresh air intake at Rana Gruber, Norway.
The system contains of two electric substations, supplying energy to 8x440kW electric heaters.
EOL Vent Mining AB, in close collaboration with VEAB Heat Tech AB, a turn-key solution was designed, delivered, installed and commissioned during 2023.
Rana Gruber aims to cut all CO2 emissions and this step replaced the existing propane heaters.

Inside each of the prefabricated substations there are three different sections, incoming medium voltage, transformer and low voltage section. The medium voltage section contains 20kV switchgear with possibility for future expansion, transformer section contains a transformer from 20kV to 400V, low voltage section contains 400V switchgear with the breakers for the electrical heaters. The control system for the heaters and switchgear are also located in the low voltage section, adjusting the intake air to actual preset temperature.

Outside the city of Ras al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates is the luxury hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island. VEAB has delivered a total of 240 units. electric duct heaters of the VTL type to our customer Independent Technical Solutions L.L.C, Dubai who installed these duct heaters in the hotel.

With a beautiful view over the sea and its perfect quiet location on the island of Marjan Island between Ras al Khaimah and Dubai's city centers, the hotel is a popular booking object for luxury tourists and family travelers alike.

At the same time, the hotel can offer heated swimming pools, a large luxurious spa equipped with treatment rooms, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and relaxation area. Heating with central heating takes place when necessary and air conditioning in the rooms is always an obvious asset for the visitors.

Comfort in the hotel is maintained, among other things, with the help of VEAB's products which, in addition to district heating, also provide each hotel room with the option of individually setting the temperature of our duct heaters. The efficiency of the VTL heaters ensures that the feeling of luxury is maintained for your guests staying in the extra heated environments.

For some years we have supplied our AW C to the shipyard Astilleros Murueta in Bilbao, Spain.
The products have now been installed in the fishing vessels Avataq and Sisimut who are both used for fishing outside Nuuk on Greenland.
In some periods the outside temperatures there can drop to -25 C, but with our product installed it is no problem for the two vessels.

AW C is a hot water fan heater which is made in acid-resistant stainless steel, and is very suitable for harsh environments.
During 2020 the vessel Nataarnaw is also planned to arrive at Greenland, and it will also be equipped with heating from VEAB.
