New sheet metal line delivered – the next step in VEAB’s production investment

VEAB’s investment in the production of the future has reached another important milestone. The new Salvagnini line has now been delivered to our facility in Hässleholm, and assembly and installation are well underway.

The delivery is a central part of the larger investment of approximately SEK 50 million, which includes both the expansion of the factory and investments in new production technology.

Over the past year, the new production environment has gradually taken shape. The approximately 1,500 m² extension creates space for new production flows and for the new sheet metal line, which is now being installed in the new facilities.

From construction project to production technology

With the machinery now on site, the project is entering its next phase. The Salvagnini line is being assembled and will then be installed, tested and commissioned before gradually being brought into production.

The new punching and panel bending line is an important part of VEAB’s continued development of its manufacturing operations. The investment will provide better conditions for efficient material flows, high production capacity and flexible manufacturing.

At the same time, the investment is about more than a single machine. The factory expansion and the new production equipment are both part of a long-term effort to further develop how VEAB manufactures its products and operates its production.

Next steps

During the coming period, work will continue with installation, commissioning and preparations for production start-up.

With the new sheet metal line now on site, another important part of the investment is becoming a reality – bringing VEAB one step closer to a more modern and efficient production environment in Hässleholm.
