Construction is progressing as VEAB’s new production environment takes shape
A lot is happening at VEAB right now. Around our facilities in Hässleholm, clear signs of ongoing development can be seen as the construction work gradually shapes the next chapter in the company’s history.
Six months ago, we shared the news about our investment in expanded and modernised premises. The project has now moved beyond the presentation stage and become a tangible part of everyday life at VEAB. Walls, spaces and new opportunities are beginning to take shape, while daily operations continue.
This is an important phase for VEAB. Not only because we are expanding, but because we are building for what we aim to become in the future.
A production environment designed for the future
The new production area of approximately 1,500 square metres is being created to give VEAB better opportunities to grow alongside our customers’ needs. As demands for flexibility, shorter lead times and high delivery precision continue to increase, our internal conditions also need to evolve.
The expansion allows us to rethink how production is planned, organised and carried out. It is about creating more space, but also about creating better connections between different parts of the business.
Once the premises are completed, we will have a production environment that is better adapted to future volumes, more efficient workflows and continued high quality in our solutions.
Construction in the middle of daily operations
Carrying out a project of this scale while production is ongoing places high demands on planning, coordination and flexibility. For VEAB, it is therefore important that the construction process takes place with consideration for the business, our employees and our customers.
Throughout the project, the focus has been on maintaining progress without compromising stability in day-to-day operations. It is a team effort in which many parts of the organisation are affected and contribute.
For our employees, the construction period brings changes to everyday routines, but also a clear picture of where VEAB is heading. The new premises will provide better conditions for production, collaboration and long-term development.
More than new square metres
It is easy to describe an expansion in numbers. However, the true value of the project lies in what the new spaces will enable.
The new and upgraded premises will be an important part of VEAB’s continued development. They create the conditions for more modern production, improved material flows and a more efficient path from customer need to finished solution.

Energy efficiency as part of the bigger picture
Alongside the expansion, upgrades are also being made to the existing premises. One important part is the roof renovation, where improved insulation is expected to contribute to reduced electricity consumption.
For VEAB, this is a concrete measure that shows how the investment extends beyond capacity and production. When we develop our premises, we do so with a long-term perspective, where energy efficiency and sustainable operations are a natural part of the bigger picture.
The next step in a larger journey

Once the project is completed, we will have taken an important step towards a more efficient, flexible and future-proof production environment.
Right now, it is taking shape day by day, here in Hässleholm.
